middle-aged men and women seeking permanent solution for hair loss
According to statistics released from a recent member survey
conducted by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery
(ISHRS)the worlds leading medical authority on hair loss and hair
restorationlackluster worldwide economic growth in 2010 did not put
the brakes on the number of people investing in hair restoration
surgery to treat hair loss. Approximately 279,381 hair restoration
procedures were performed worldwide in 2010, up 11 percent from
2008. This increase coincides with a significant jump in the total
number of hair restoration patients worldwidefrom 811,363 patients
in 2008 to 923,599 patients in 2010.
